muros wall panels make news headlines!

Weeknights on One at ‘Seven Sharp’, you can view TVNZ’s primetime current affairs show. Launched earlier this year to replace the previous Close Up format, it offers an informal, magazine style of news to an audience of over 375,000 viewers of varying demographics.

With a fresh new format the set had to be contemporary, but still retain a down to earth nature that suited Kiwis and the conversation style of presentation. The brief was a homely 'local' look and feel – nothing too flashy. The setting needed to be accessible to viewers and make them feel comfortable in a relaxed social space - a friend's house, bar or cafe...

Muros Rustic Loft Brick was chosen to create the primary backdrop. The multi-coloured and weathered brick style provided a perfect fit to the brief and setting for its three animated hosts - Greg Boyed, Ali Mau and comedian Jesse Mulligan.

The lightweight and flexible panels were easy to install in limited space. Furthermore, Muros was able to supply panels within a tight timeframe required by TVNZ to meet the launch deadline.

Keeping New Zealander’s informed, touching human interest and not taking themselves to seriously... against a comfortable visual backdrop…seems to be just what Kiwis want to hear and see!
