contemporary brick fireplace for new leafy suburb home

If you love quality residential space, and are seeking to add more texture or warmth to your home... Muros Wall Panels may just be the perfect finishing touch.

A private Herne Bay residence has done just that! The new architecturally designed home incorporates a distinguishing three-sided fireplace* surround, cleverly utilising Muros White Brick wall panels.

The result is a striking feature in the main living area, yet in keeping with the elegant and classic style of the contemporary home. Further, the fireplace incorporates a recessed return for a flat-screen TV - a popular design feature today.

The Herne Bay project in Auckland utilised just two Muros Wall Panels to complete the front face and two returns, as well as edges of the recessed return housing the TV. The multi-sided wall panel installation demonstrating the versatility of Muros Wall Panels to accommodate almost any design feature.

The result is surely breathtaking!

* Please note: The use of fire-resistant Muros Wall Panels around fireplace settings is a popular application used by customers worldwide. That said, Muros Wall Panels are not designed to be subjected to direct, strong or constant heat. Installation in and around fireplaces and fireboxes is not one of the recommended applications. This is due to the inability of Muros International to control installation layout, technique and use of appropriate and quality fire retardant materials used throughout fireplace projects. Muros highlights this point to all clients during their decision-making, and draws attention to the need for correct installation of all materials around fireboxes.
