muros concrete lays foundation for panasonic

Panasonic NZ opened its new kitchen showroom to the public earlier this year, setting the standard in applicance presentation and customer engagement.

Situated at Panasonic head office in the high-growth area of Highbrook East Tamaki, the showroom draws in kitchen designers and customers with its sleek new design and fully-functional kitchen. Creating a modern and stylish space was paramount to showcase Panasonic’s new collection of built-in kitchen products and features of the new home range.

A combination of polished concrete floors, white cabinetry, light wood benches, and stainless steel benchtops are set against an industrial backdrop of exposed concrete walls and timber ceilings with low hanging pendants.

Muros Grey Roughcast Concrete wall panels were selected to provide industrial-style beams and columns. A combination of horizontal and vertical panel styles ensured timber formwork lines ran (approriately) parallel to the floor. Cutting and screwing panel sections into place with ease onto existing or purpose-built substrates, made Muros Wall Panels a versatile solution for all wall surfaces. The effect is a realistic substitute for natural concrete, with the benefits of light weight and speed of install.

The contemporary industrial design is both welcoming and to brief, a testament to the efforts of both Pennant and Triumph in creating the vision/concept and Gartshores’ for expertly executing it in the fit-out stage. Muros is pleased to have the opportunity to work yet again with these quality organisations and contribute to Panasonics brand promise of A Better Life, A Better World.
